Meet Madison | Class of 2019 | East Canton High School

I am thrilled to introduce you to Madison who is a Senior at East Canton High School.  The more I tell you about her, the more endearing you will feel toward her.  Let's start with the fact that she wanted to begin her portrait session by including her two beloved dogs as well as her three brothers.  Madison manages to hold her own right in the middle of the boys and is truly a grounding presence.  I love what this says about her priorities.

I really think that if you were to look up the meaning of "All American Girl," you would find Madison's picture.  Not only does she possess an infection sparkle in her eyes and smile, but she excels academically and is a member of the National Honor Society.  Her friends would describe her as funny, kind, and genuine.  That shows through in every portrait.

Just like her disposition, Madison's smile is unfailing.  Each of these portraits were captured as a first take with no adjustments.  She is just a natural in every way.  Among her favorite things to do (other than basketball which we will get to) are hanging out with friends and watching movies, especially comedy and suspense.  She likes eating at Red Lobster and shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods and American Eagle.  Doesn't that seem appropriate?

As much as I adore Madison's smile, we did get a few portraits with a softer look.  I just love these quiet poses below.  Madison said that what she liked best about her portrait session was the relaxed atmosphere.  She played a large part in creating that relaxed atmosphere and I appreciated it, too.  Nonetheless, Madison's mom and I couldn't help but gush as we would look at the back of the camera.

We were able to take advantage of the beautiful early fall when there is a little color starting in some trees, but everything still feels full of life.  I loved the glow of the yellow trees in the background.  The gray tones in the stone worked well with the gray stripe in her sweater and allowed the colorful stripes and her smile to pop.

Ah yes!!!  Now, we get to talk about Madison's real passion, which is basketball.  Madison has had a long history playing basketball and plans to continue playing in college.  She will be attending Walsh University and contributing her talents and positivity on and off the court as she pursues a degree in something medical related.  Not surprising, Madison's favorite portrait from our session is the one below that is a composite of her in the doorway and her basketball image on the wall.  I like that she is larger than life in that portrait.  That is how she approaches challenges, hence, she reaps the benefits of success.

I have no doubt that we will continue to see Madison tackling her future challenges, and I am quite certain that we have not seen the last of her successes.  So many people in her future will be warmed by that smile, and I am so thrilled that I have been able to capture it and share it through her portraits.  Best wishes to you, Madison!

You make the memories; I will help you cherish them.

Love and Smiles,

Laura
