Meet Olivia | Class of 2019 | Louisville High School

Meet Olivia, Class of 2019.  Olivia, also known as Liv, is a Senior at Louisville High School where she is seen by her friends as a nice, thoughtful, caring, and hardworking person.  I would have to add a few more adjectives such as resilient and easy-going.  You see, Olivia's portraits may create the appearance of a beautiful setting and a carefree day, but the reality of the situation is that it was absolutely freezing.

We had agreed to meet at Brumbaugh Nature Center in Minerva, and upon Olivia's arrival, I realized that she had just left school and immediately came to our session.  She hopped out of the car and used my pop-up changing tent to change into her first outfit that you see here.  No fuss, no muss.  Looks absolutely adorable and refreshed.  I really should have turned the camera on myself for a funny contrast.  I was bundled from head to toe and my nose was still red.  Despite the cold and gusty winds, we did capture some beautiful portraits, some of which are shown below.  Olivia said that these are among her favorites.  The sweater that her mom picked up for her was just the perfect color for this spot.  I love how it makes her beautiful blue eyes POP.

I think that we were all thankful to hop in the car for a warm drive down the street to the University of Mount Union campus.  How adorable is this outfit?  Keep in mind, it is still freezing out, but you sure can't tell by her smile.  Fortunately, I had a blanket in my car and we would wrap her up like a burrito to move from one location to another.  What a good sport!

This setting was perfect as Olivia plans to attend the University of Mount Union in the fall.  She thinks she may want to major in early childhood education or business.  UMU has recently gained accreditations in these areas and really just can't be beat, so she will be on a very successful path.

Olivia's next outfit was perfect to show her more casual and playful side.  It didn't hurt that it was a little warmer, as well.  Above and below you see that heartwarming smile and dimples that is such an Olivia trademark.  Some things that may trigger that smile are hanging out with friends, snow skiing, and going to Cleveland Indians games.  She also likes shopping, especially at Target, and eating out at places like Bjs Brew house, Applebees, and Outback Steakhouse.

As much as I love Olivia's beaming smile, I really love the softer look of her portraits below.  Those bright blue eyes and adorable dimples are a great indication of the incredibly sweet heart that lies beneath.  They match the fact that Olivia loves Nicholas Sparks movies and the Hallmark Christmas movies, as well as country music.  No wonder we get along so well!

Olivia, I love you and your family dearly and it was such a pleasure to be your photographer.  I hope that you can see the beauty in yourself that makes everyone around you so happy.  You know I will be watching and cheering you on in whatever path you choose.

You make the memories; I will help you cherish them.

Love and Smiles,

Laura
