Madison, who also goes my Maddy, is a senior in the Class of 2024 at North Canton Hoover High School. We held her senior portrait session in the middle of October at Quail Hollow Park in Hartville, Ohio. Even though the fall day was chilly and rainy, Madison was all warmth and that came through in her portraits.
In Madison's pre-session consultation, I learned that she loves fall and her coloring certainly glows in that setting. At that time, we had decided on her outfits and where we planned to use each one in the session. Our plan certainly made our time efficient and created absolutely gorgeous results.
We started the session with her in this happy print dress with the denim jacket. Our first shot was actually taken in the rain and then we decided to pause for the shower to pass. When it was over, we just picked right back up where we left off. I knew that this look would shine in the field setting and she certainly did.
I think that it is very common for Madison to shine. Her friends consider her to be the "mom" of the group. She keeps everyone in check while constantly looking our for others. She loves to care for others and to make people smile. She is very good at that!
Speaking of making others smile, I was doing more than smiling as we were creating this next set of portraits. Madison changed into these adorable jeans in a rich red with the cozy cable knit sweater. Absolute perfection! We were so blessed with our timing to catch these fall maple leaves at the perfect stage of color change. The combination was positively magical! Mix in Madison's engaging expressions and I was bursting with excitement.
Some things that make Madison smile are watching the Gilmore Girls and reading romance and murder mystery books. She also likes to travel to new places. She has enjoyed connecting with her Med Tech teacher and classmates, but she is ready to move beyond the high school setting.
It is rare that seniors are certain about their post graduation plans, but Madison has that all figured out. She will be attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the fall to major in biology with a concentration in pre-occupational therapy. She plans to pursue graduate school from there.
Madison' pink sweater gave us the opportunity to create some lovely color harmony with these stunning pink bushes as a backdrop. I also love how she "pops" in the wooded setting with the lush evergreen trees surrounding her.
I continued to appreciate Madison's caring side that is full of warmth and reassurance. How appropriate that she is currently in the process of becoming an STNA (state tested nurse aide)! She will be so appreciated by her patients!
Madison's final outfit shows her sophisticated side and the manor house was a wonderful setting for this look. It worked out well because it started raining again, so we appreciated the covered porch.
Madison, I loved everything about your session and I so appreciate that you trusted me and totally embraced the process. I'm so lucky to get to know you!
What did Madison have to say about her senior portrait session?
"I chose Laura Esposito Photography because my mom knew of her and I thought her work was absolutely beautiful! I liked that even though it was rainy and chilly, it was still so much fun thanks to Laura's amazing personality and photography skills! I loved the portraits with the fall leaves with my white sweater and red pants! I also love the look of the major house with my black body suit and green pants! Both locations made for a prefect match with the outfits. We were able to showcase my calm personality but also a little bit of sass! Laura is so fun and bubbly! She will make your session special, fun, and stress-free!"
