Megan is a senior in the class of 2023 at Alliance High School and we held her late August senior portrait session at Quail Hollow Park and in downtown Louisville. First of all... what can I say? I got to meet Megan. The minute this bubbly and bright personality hopped out of the car, I was a fan. Her positivity is totally contagious and her smile causes your own to become permanent on your face. I don't know how she does it, but she has a gift.
Needless to say, our exploration of her wardrobe in tow made me so happy because I could see that her options were varied and "so Megan." We made our plan for the evening. Her first outfit is bright and fun, just like Megan. She looks so good in this bright pink as it brings out the color in her face that so perfectly glows through that lovely summer tan. We worked around the Manor House, under the arbor in the garden, and around some of the stone structures. Megan was a natural in front of the camera.
Megan, who also goes by Meg, is a very busy senior. She plays travel softball for Stark Raiders and varsity softball at Alliance High School. She is involved in National Honor Society, Student Senate, and Key Club. She also volunteers at the Stark County Humane Society and at the Alliance Community Food Pantry. I can only imagine the impact that she makes in all of those endeavors.
Megan's second outfit is this soft purple sundress that was such a beautiful contrast to the previous outfit. This dress begged to be photographed in the field so that was our first stop. A backlit glow in a field just gives me all the feels. Megan glows enough on her own, so together, this was magic. Oh, how I love that dimple!
Megan's friends would describe her as loud, positive, funny and outgoing. All of these qualities endear her to everyone she meets. They will also serve her well as she would like to become an elementary teacher. Those will be some very lucky kiddos who end up in her classroom!
Our third "look" was all about softball. They came soooo prepared with the equipment and the writing on the softballs. These are just so perfect.
Along with softball, Megan has some other fun interests. Her favorite movie is Divergent. She likes any music by Taylor Swift. She is also a fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Guardians. She likes seafood and her favorite vacation spots are Disney World and Destin, Florida.
Megan's fourth outfit is a showstopper. This feminine and flattering dress is perfectly paired with these fabulous red heels! This outfit called for a new setting, so we ventured to downtown Louisville for more of an urban vibe. We really had some fun with these.
As Megan leaves high school, she says that she is going to miss seeing her friends everyday. She is excited about the opportunity to leave Alliance behind to explore new opportunities. Her plans are to attend Hiram College to major in elementary education while playing for their softball team. They will be so lucky to have her.
Megan, my life is brighter from having the chance to know you. Thank you for trusting me with your senior portraits, and know that you will always have a fan in Louisville cheering you on!
What did Megan have to say about her senior portrait session?
"I chose Laura Esposito Photography because I loved her photos and how she captures a senior's true personality. I loved how open and carefree it was. I didn’t feel pressure to do a good job and it was a great environment. I loved my pink and purple outfits, and loved my purple dress in the field. My advice to other seniors is don't wait to book with her. She's amazing and spots will fill up fast." -Megan
