Meet Olivia | Marlington HS | Class of 2023
Olivia, who also goes by Liv, is a Class of 2023 Senior at Marlington High School and we held her October senior portrait session at the beautiful Quail Hollow Park in Hartville. Olivia is not only beautiful inside and out, she is also an introspective artist with both creativity and conviction. It was pure joy for me to collaborate with her to create her senior portraits.
When we met each other on that gorgeous fall day, we reviewed her outfits and props that we wanted to incorporate and created our plan for the evening. We started with this beautiful rich flannel and jeans that seem so fitting for Olivia. We also worked in some of her art that she brought and it felt like the brush was truly an extension of her person.
In addition to taking private art classes, Olivia's creative talents are extended with her private piano classes. She loves to explore many different aspects of art, including digital art, wood burning, and painting. She also loves learning about music and the piano. Her friends describe her as creative and clever.
Olivia's second outfit was this cozy soft cardigan in the perfect burnt orange that allowed her to pop within this stunning fall setting. The reflection and leaf pictures are so rich and that backlighting just floods the scene with warmth.
Olivia loves TV shows and documentaries about the paranormal. Along with a love for science fiction, Olivia is also a fan of hot and spicy foods. To bring things back down to earth, Olivia enjoys learning about geodes, rocks and minerals.
Olivia's third outfit continued our burnt orange trend but made the look more casual with this fun hoodie. We made our way into the woods to capture these and also used the stone arch and the garden arbor to add some interest.
When Olivia graduates, she will miss some of her favorite teachers. She intends to follow a career in art. It will be wonderful for her to find a way to share her talents.
Olivia's final outfit is this sharp black draped cardigan. The black is so harmonious with her hair and helps her to stand out in that peaceful field backdrop. We had the perfect fall evening with this glowing light that just reflects Olivia's warmth.
Olivia, it was such a pleasure for me to spend the evening collaborating with you and your mom. Capturing your soft sweet smile and contemplative expressions gave me an opportunity to appreciate your artistic talents. I wish you all the best and I can't wait to see where you choose to share your talents.
