The answers to your questions
Where do portrait sessions take place?
Area parks are most commonly used. Your local high school, sports field, or gym may be appropriate. If you have access to a unique location such as a farm or country club, be sure to let me know.
What time of day do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place any time of day. Mornings and evenings offer the most lovely sunlight.
When should I book my session?
Dates fill quickly for summer and fall, so it is best to schedule early. I start booking in January for the following summer and fall. This means you will want to book during your Junior year.
What form of payment do you accept?
You can pay by credit card prior to your session on line, or you can bring cash or check payable to Laura Esposito Photography to your session.
When is payment due?
The $50 nonrefundable retainer is due at booking. The final $400 payment for your session is due at the session if paying by cash or check. If you are paying by credit card on line, then payment is due prior to the session. Payment for products is due when your order is placed. Payment plans are available.
How soon after our session will our images be available?
You will see your images at your Reveal and Order Session which is scheduled for the week after your session. This is where you will gain access to your gallery.
What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor session?
If the forecast indicates rain for your outdoor session, we will reschedule for another day.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule?
If you cancel, you forfeit the $50 retainer fee. Rescheduling your session less than month before the scheduled session incurs a $50 rescheduled fee. The photographer’s decision to reschedule for weather will not result in a reschedule fee.
Where can I change my clothes?
I have a portable changing tent for your convenience.
Can other people come along for my session?
I require a parent to be there to help with outfits and to look for detail adjustments. Other people may be needed to help with props such as pets or vehicles. Only invite people who will be supportive and helpful. Behind the scenes pics or video is welcome!
How many portraits will I have in my gallery?
Every portrait session is different. Most senior portrait galleries include 80-100 portraits. I guarantee at least 60 images.
How long will I have access to my gallery?
Your gallery will remain available to you until December 31 after you have graduated from high school.
Can I buy the digitals?
Yes.
Social media files* are available for $400 for the entire gallery or $50 each. Social media files are required for sharing on social media but are not for printing.
Full resolution files are available for $950 for the entire gallery or $150 each. Full resolution files are needed for creating prints, wall art, grad announcements, photo books or anything in a physical print.
*You will be gifted five social media files when you come for your Reveal Session.
How much should I expect to spend on products?
Senior families usually spend between $600 and $3000 on products. For a more complete list and description of products, see the PORTRAIT PRODUCTS page on my website under "EVERYTHING SENIORS."
Do we get any actual prints with my session?
Your Senior Portrait Experience does not include prints. Prints can be purchased directly from your gallery. Any purchased wall art and/or albums will be designed collaboratively to ensure that you get exactly what you want.
Your session does include five low-resolution social media files. These files are optimized for digital sharing but cannot be printed. You get to choose these five images at your reveal session.
